Editorial Policy
Money2046 compares the real cost of moving money. This policy exists to make the difference between our rankings and an affiliate shill visible and enforceable.
How rankings work
- Routes are ranked by usable outcome — recipient amount after all costs — for the corridor and amount you select.
- Verified quotes drive the ranking. Until verified quotes exist for a route, it shows as schema/estimates and cannot outrank verified routes.
- We show verified matches and alternative rails separately — stablecoin paths never silently outrank regulated remittance products. Custody and protection differences are in the row, not hidden in a score.
Commissions
- We may earn affiliate commissions from links. It’s how the site is funded.
- Commission status never affects a ranking. A provider that pays us and one that doesn’t are compared on the same verified numbers. If that’s ever violated, the correction trail (corrections policy) will show it — that’s the mechanism, and it’s public.
What we never do
- No fabricated payout screenshots
- No “guaranteed returns” language
- No recommending products we haven’t verified
- No reward-led rankings or “featured” placement-for-payment
- No hidden edits to rankings or figures
Independence
- Contributors’ identities are never shared with providers.
- We publish when crypto loses (a Wise-class route beats stablecoins on a corridor — that’s the result).
- The methodology documents the verification rules; the Watch documents every change.
If you see this policy violated, report it: corrections@money2046.com. The trail is public.
